My Itg foam filter arrived yesterday. Braving the rain showers and lack of light I managed to strip the car down and fit it. It was a little tricky getting the top off the air box I had to remove the intercoller cover for better access. The whole job only took 30mins. Hopefully today I will be able to get some dry roads to test it out.

I will keep you posted.

The JCW CAI has a butterfly-like flap inside that allows (or prevents) air to come in CAI, it opens up as your RPMs go up I think at 33-3500 it opens up all the way. I read it was put in for fuel efficiency?? Remove it and you have max air always even below 3500 rpms. Sound nicer too, makes supercharger sound more pronounced.

Easy?
Yes took longer to properly set in ITG filter.
about 10 mins to remove lower plug and flap, but I left the wiring alone, in case I want to replace back to original.
