Hi
I've had my '07 mini one since last Sep. I've just noticed the snow outside (in central London) and was rather worried about the fact that I've never put anti-freeze in my car!!
My car is parked in a well lit underground car park, but it is not 100% immune from the cold!!

Question: before I purchased the car, the dealer had the car valeted. Would the mini dealer already put anti-freeze in the car? If not, then the next question would be if u guys thought my car will be ok as it's parked in a car park.

Thks!!

I'd be surprised if the car doesn't have antifreeze in it already - it's typically something that is put into all brand new cars, and not something that the owner has to put in themselves (only top up perhaps). Check by opening the bonnet, and looking to see if the water is a blue/green colour. If it is, then it has antifreeze in it. Don't get mixed up with the radiator water and the windscreen washer bottle though - the windscreen water could be blue due to the screenwash!
It'll be fine i'm sure :)

Enjoy the snow... It's lovely in Bury where i am! :)

Don't worry, you should be fine! The temperature itself isn't that cold and your MINI should be able to cope with the cold without any issues.
Hey Wayne....those stripes will come in handy in this weather. ;)

Have to see a pic of your car in this weather....will look stunning.
the stripes are the only part of my car that i can see right now lol.

Is the weather bad near you chris?
Pretty bad...about 15cm deep!!! Local roads are terrible.
wher abouts in the uk are you guys, cos im in Coventry (i know its a city n wont get much) but we got like 1 maybe 2mm of snow :(
Kingston Upon Thames. That deep you can't tell where the kerbs are on the road!!!
I'm in north Manchester.

It's quite bad here... just watched my next door neighbour nearly take out a metal fence in the sliippy conditions :p
Thanks for help/re-assurance, I've checked and my car certainly has anti-freeze!

Being as most of the transport system in London has shut down (so no work - yippee!!), Il think I'll get aquainted with this booklet that came with the car - I think it's called a manual!!

Enjoy the snow!!!
