Okay, so I have an intermittent knocking sound that appears to be coming from the front
right hand side of my R56 JCW.

It's worse in the cold and does it continually if I go around an Island.
Strangely, it never seems to happen if i turn left!
I suspect it's a suspension problem, maybe like a bush or mounting, what do you guy's think??
Cheers for any help offered.

Sounds like a CV joint problem, in this case your right joint. When they're worn they tend to knock at or close to full-lock. Is the knock occurring in a consistent interval as you turn? If so, does the interval shorten as you speed up? That's where I'd start anyway.
