okay, now this is going to sound a bit...well..not very helpful, but here goes... i was on here last night, and came across a company which specialises in gearstick gaitors and handbrake boots. its a company in poland, may be called something like redline motorsports (apologies to redline motorsports if it's not you!). i'm nearly sure i saw it this forum, the interior one, so do a wee search, I'm sure it's in here somewhere, it was added to very recently! if i find it, i'll come back here and post a link...

Newton Commercial Sells them

Newton Commercial produces leather kits for many cars including the New MINI. I used them to retrim my Triumph Spitfire and they do great work with top notch service. They sell an all leather handbrake for the MINI. Check them out, theirs a pic of the grip on their website. I hope this helps.

That's not it!

The chrome and leather brake handle from mini mania is not the one I was referring to. The one from Newton is all black leather with stitches. I understand the chrome and leather one has no way of attaching to the e-brake. I mean their is no set screw to secure it. Therefore it just spins around! The chrome and satin handle from RSpeed is a nice choice to complement the Whalen knob. I went with something similar from AKG motorsport. Newton makes the only ALL leather handle I know of.

Another solution!

I see you say you bought a leather boot set from Redline Goods. That gives me another idea. About a year ago I approached Maciek from Redline about doing leather boots for the MINI. He agreed that it would be a good idea and has produced them with great results. He's a great guy to work with and if you told him MINI owners would like leather
e-brake handles to match the his leather boots he very well may produce them! It's worth a try.

How about the leather shift and brake handle options from Mini....has anyone seen these or have them and comment on them?
Shhhhh say this quietly but my dealer got a set in for me and I wasn't impressed with
the leather so went for the Redline for softer leather and haven't regretted it. Paul Mullet
has the factory set and he is happy with it so it's personal preference.
I've trimmed my existing handle with a leather off cut that feels nice but the colour doesn't
match. The colour mismatch isn't quite as bad in real life, the photo exaggerates. It's
supposed to be temp until I get something better, probably still be on the car when I sell it.
