Really specific issue, but I’m a new mini owner and I’m not sure if this is an easy fix or not! Just got my 2010 Mini Cooper convertible and I have noticed an issue with the passenger door.
Passenger Door normally works perfectly fine, and opens easily when I press unlock for the car. The issue comes after driving when the car auto locks the doors. I have noticed that no one can open the passenger door from the outside in this instance. It doesn’t unlock when the drivers door opens, or when I unlock the whole car from the button inside. I have to lean over and open the door from the inside? After that point, the door opens and shuts as normal... any help would be super appreciated!!

(also, if I leave the key in the ignition but the engine off, is it normal for the battery warning light to come on???)

Thanks :) :)

Might be normal, if your car has system menu choices you might be able to change the settings or get a app like Bimmercode, Carly etc... to change the car settings.

Check the condition of your battery in this case.
