When driving at normal speeds on smooth tarmac I have no issues, but as soon as the surface isn't perfect, or I push in the corners, the steering makes a feeling that is disconnected or that something is loose and the wheels aren't pointing where they should and it feels like it skips and doesn't feel stable.
I've taken it to my local garage and they can't see anything out of sorts.
I have even tyre wear, no signs of wear in the bushings, and no play in the suspension.
I'm racking my brain as to what it could be, as it doesn't feel like the confidence inspiring steering I thought the mini's had a reputation for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if this is what your car does, just confirmation of one of those Mini Quirks!
