Hi,

I just had the pads changed on my one and whenever i press the brakes now there is so much give in it. I find that im having to practically press it all the way down to fell the car realy brake......

Where as before it still wasnt great but i could feel it breaking a lot higher up.

is this normal and part of the bedding in process or has it not been properly changed?

Thanks

The brakes will feel spongy for the 1st few hundred miles, after that they will bed in..
Worth double checking the brake fluid though is full . Pump the brake pedal a few times may help too when stationary..
Only other thing if they dont feel better in 300 miles, could be air in the system..

Thanks..... but another question.....

Before the silly mechanic changed the front pads there was quite a lot of give in the pedal. My GF drove a cooper and she said it was a more sensitive than mine. Ive had the system bled before the pads were changed and that didnt really make a difference.

Is there anything else that could be tinkered to make it more responsive?
