Maps update?

Google maps is the best Sat nav you could possibly have. It's free and in constant real time. I drive for a living and tried out many sat navs and nothing beats Google plus it's on your phone. If your smart you can always buy a cheap 7" tablet and give it an internet connection from your phone. The internet usage is minimal or if your very clever and you know where your going in advance then you can download the route in advance and store it on the phone/ tablet.

Cars with built in sat nav is just a cash cow plus the majority of them are bland!

If you don't have in car Nav, do as SeanC says and use Google maps. Free, up to date, and minimal data usage.

I have the nav on my 15 R60 but the maps pretty much suck compared to my Garmin, which is why I use the Garmin instead of the onboard. If you use the nav a great deal I think you'll find the onboard really isn't very good.

Hi, did you manage to update the Sat Nav?

If it's the DVD based system, you just need to get the updated DVD discs.

If it's the HDD based system, you need to get the code along with map and code the system.

You can find them on eBay....

Or for the R60, just download and install them yourself. Links are on the CarTechnology forum.

they were very competitive cost wise and the fresh install worked a treat. That said, I did have them put the files on a USB stick as the torrent link was far too slow.

I just purchased my map update from OEM Navigations and I am very satisfied with it.
They have both free and paid map updates.
