I have a 2004 MCS, sport package, 19k miles, original tires. The inside edges of the tires are showing a bad wear pattern. Each inside edge tread block is worn in a ramped shape. The tread blocks together form kind of a zig-zag pattern. Running my hand over them in one direction feels smooth, but in the other direction each tread block catches my hand. Not sure if I've described it well enough. But anyway, with the significant camber on this car, would we expect the inside edges of the tires to wear first like this, or should I have alignment checked? What are the alignments specs for this car? Thanks to anyone who can advise.

Hello mate,

I had something similar to this on my previous car and the garage who changed my tyres blamed it on slow speed manoeuvring. He said try not to turn the steering while stationary. I know it’s not the best answer but just explaining my experience.

All the best.
