Anyone have statistics on which states in the United States have sold the most and least Minis and MCSs?

It would also be interesting to see a state-by-state breakdown. :)

Well, I know that florida is selling the convertables like crazy. When I went to pick up my MC a couple months ago, my MA said that his dealership was trading one hard top for 2 covertables from dealerships up north. And he said that they still couldn't keep up with the demand for the convertables. But some specific statistics would be interesting.

well, kind of related, Ian over at www.gbmini.net did a fun analysis of where he shipped his circuits. While not a comprehensive set of data for all MINIs, it's still fun to look at....http://www.gbmini.net/mtblog/archive/2004/12/where_are_all_t.shtml

There's also a link there for Octane Guy's national DB...again it's limited to people who have registered w/ him, doesn't represent MINIUSA's data...but still fun.
So if you combine that map with say, this map: 2004 Election Maps There seem to be some some similarities between counties that voted Red and counties that voted Blue. Just interesting. And imperfect.
