Hi i just bought a 2011 clubman 3 months ago and the timing chain has just gone and taken out the whole engine!. Any suggestions where best to get the engine redone (or buy a reconditioned one) in Scotland preferably as the car is near Livingstone ? I did read that the re was a recall for timing chain problems on Minis?

Cheapest would be a working engine from ebay, scrap/salvage yard etc...

Alternatively you can get your engine rebuilt but will cost more.
