Hi all
I have a Mini Countryman Cooper TD 2014
Started it this morning but it has a bad engine noise, I’ve not driven it at all over the weekend and have left it where it is. It took 2 litres of oil ? but I’ve had no oil light on at all. The red service light has recently come on as I need to get it in for service but this hasn’t been on for long, would it override the oil light? Could this be engine damage due to low oil or the timing chain? Currently in mourning until I can get it to a garage, I’m fearing the worst.
