7.5 should be fine but it is also down to the offset. The offset or ET will be stamped on the inside of the wheel. In the region of 40mm is common on aftermarket wheels for the R50.
Mini R50 maximum wheel sizes?
Hi guys, I’ve just bought some lenso bsx 15x 7.5j that I’m going to do a bit of a home refurb to whilst isolating, it has just dawned on me though can my r50 even take a 7.5 as standard? Iv got some 17x7j S rims on currently and they don’t seem to be an issue just wondering if anyone knows if I might have problems ?
