For the past almost 3 years I've been driving a BMW 225xe m sport. Last night I had an overnight test drive of Mini's e as well drove my 225xe on the same test drive. My 225xe did everything as good as the Mini and the only thing that I found better was Mini's suspension. I like the design of Mini's e with it's quirky design and I'm due for some difference in my next vehicle.
Both Mini & BMW perform great around corners with very good performance for the money you pay.
