Not as stupid a question as it sounds arbee bearing in mind the UK/US gallon size disparity.
As for 0-60 differences, road surface, humidity, wind, blah blah, gradient, tyre pressures, change up point, blah blah, method, timing equipment, actual vehicle miles, fuel grade, tempreature, heat soak, blah blah blah blah blah
And yes, a US mile is much longer 'cos everything is bigger in America!
