Whilst driving along at 70mph I heard a very loud 'crack' noise. Sounded like a stone hitting the car, and I feared the worst for the paint work. Upon stopping I could find no sign of damage, until I came to wash my car.
The only damage is to the drivers side wing mirror (see picture) which is a couple of mm deep. It stands out like a sore thumb
Any ideas of how best to fix this?

Thanks in anticipation, Andrew

I've picked up a 3 inch scuff on my passenger mirror cap. :(

Haven't hit anything as far as I'm aware.

Would you recommend something to cover it up, or get a replacement cap?

I have a set of spare mirror caps for a 1st gen MINI, only problem is they are the black plastic ones that came off my baby ONE :(
