Wow, what a trek! That would make some news, maybe!
Count me in! Sounds like a blast!LordWinslow said:I know there are many Mini owners in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont (as well as all our neighbors). I was thinking how fun would it be to do a Mini Trek to Mt. Washington. To get a group of Mini's together to drive up to the top of the Mountain. Make a day of it, drive up to the top, and then have lunch near by (or a picnic somewhere on the mountain). What do you guys (and gals) think about this?

What road you'rre taking? The cog rail? (hehe)
I thought Mt Washington has some of the foulest winter weather this side of Mars.

Definately one of the draw backs of living up north! The moose can cause some serious damage to even the largest of cars. I spend a lot of time in north/central Maine in the summer and worry more about MINI/moose encounters than anything else.jcsinnh said:A fine idea. BTW, I came too close to finding out the other night if my '03 MCS would fit under a moose. Love those brakes![]()

Moose isn't what worries me, it is all the Deer around. I hit 4 of them with my old truck. Luckly the Mini gives off enough light to see far enough ahead and off to the side of the road (So you can see the glowing eyes in the ditch ready to make their run for your grill). This should hopefully help you slow down in time.Cape Cod MINI said:Definately one of the draw backs of living up north! The moose can cause some serious damage to even the largest of cars.
