My key wont turn the lock in the drivers side door

Hi everyone, I've occurred a problem on my mini r53 2004, the key turns the lock in the door but wont unlock the car and is difficult to turn, the key also doesn't turn left at all to lock the car, I was looking at the actuator because the central locking wasnt working properly I'm just wondering if the problem is related to that
