Love this car already. After 12 years of cutting about in a 1.4 2nd Gen MINI First I decided on treating myself.
The plates on the 'First' will be transferred over soon before looking at parting with her, will be a wrench when I have to do this, she served me well over the years but can't go on forever I suppose.
I've already ordered replacement front grill trim and headlights in black. Rear light trims will follow, won't do the beltline, badges, handles or fuel cap though as I like them with the chrome effect. This car is like night and day compared to the 1.4
I removed the centre armrest fitted to my previous R56 with the intention of selling it on. I was pleased to discover that with some adjustments and applying determination with a little patience it will eventually fit the F56.
Definately a noticable improvement in sound quality regards these units compared the standard door speakers BMW put in the car.
I wasn't prepared to cough up £1500-£2000 for the full set-up Audison offer, I'm more than happy with my level of upgrade which cost me 200 quid.
Not cheap, but I would highly recommend these plug and play speakers if anyone is considering upgrading their audio system for a far better crisper sound.
A simple DIY job for the total amateur - like myself.
Got myself these babies, 2 x Audison 8" subwoofers (APBMW S8-4) to replace the standard speakers under the seats. These will compliment the door speakers I installed a few weeks ago.
Reviews on them swayed me as the ridiculously expensive price (£405) was putting me off. These are plug and play, no coding required. I'll wait until the weather improves before fitting, no rush.
