My wife and I are expecting our second child this summer. (Ignoring the fact that two small children and a mini is completely unpractical.) My wife asked what names are mini friendly. She suggested "Minnie" if its a girl, and "Cooper" if its a boy. Of course the no middle name just the initial "S". Will these names bring praise from their peers, or just get them beat up in the school yard? Also, is it unfair to the first born since he already have such a pedestrian (i.e. non-automotive) name? Any other names?

Have to find a way to kill time till Cooper S comes to States.

First of all, what's unpractical? It's got a back seat, is supposed to be very safe, and get's good gas mileage. We thought about trading in our Passat for a standard Cooper to go with the "S" we'll have (but, there's also an allroad in the garage).

As for the names. I like both Minnie AND Cooper. We've got a cat coming that will be named Cooper, but I'd name my boy that just the same. Names have gotten so different nowadays that it's rare to get beat up because of the name.

Hey, how about Cooper for a boy, Cooperess for a girl ;)?

BTW, my second boy is named CAR-SON...
