Hi,
question for the Dutch readers: i just called my dealer about the aux input. He said is was a avery ahrd job that definitely needed workshop assitance. He reconned it could cost up to €200 to install the thingy

Question:
- do you know if a dealer would have a aux input on stock?
- do you have similar experience, and if now: what the name of that dealer's? :)

Thanks,
Rogier

Bad Dealer, Boooo

I'm not a Dutch MINI driver, but I can't imagine anyone calling the installation of the Aux input hard. I have GPS in my MINI and had to pull out and move a few pins in the connector that connects to the back of the radio, and it still only took me 25 minutes. The installation instructions for it are on Mini2 and other sights and are very thorough. I would recommend just buying it and installing it yourself or have a friend help you if you're nervous about it. Good luck.

What do you want to do with the AUX input? Have you checked on the Dutch MINI2 forum? There are various posts on DIY (DHZ) jobs done by members. :)
