Just bought an 04 mini s..
It's been 10 years since i owned a manual and fwd,my last one was a 3000gt..i come from owning v8 muscle. But I love this mini.
Upgraded intercooler and couplers,intake,4to1 headers,exhaust,15% pulley,catch can, plug wires and coilpacks and brembo rotors and ceramic pads.
It has a few issues I need help with .
1, powersteering seems to come and go. P.o said it from the car sitting so long and needs to recirculate but I doubt that and I tried burping the system.
2, I want to get it tuned. What are my options and costs..? Are there any mail in ecu tuners or are there hand held devices?
3, if I want to run a boost gauge, what line should I tap into or t off of ?
4, can someone provide me a link to 02 harness extenders . I need to extend my wire on my 02 sensor for the headers and don't want to splice.
5, with my mods should I up the injector size with the tune ? Of so what lb injectors does it have and what's the recommended injectors i get,or should I leave that to the tuner ?
