new guy with an old cooper.

Hey everyone, just picked up my first mini a few days ago.
Its a black/silver 2002 cooper auto with what I've read the standard faulty passenger window and door lock problem. i KNOW, I KNOW AUTO... But I live in Australia and they are allergic to manual transmissions, haha haha.

I've had a good look around and given it a "spirited" drive around some good twisty roads and it feels solid, actually cant believe how good condition it in for its age.

I've come from M3's and VW's and know my way round a car (as long as I've a good step by step haha). basically will be giving it a big service then enjoying mini ownership.

I'll get some pics up and I've a few questions lined up.

Welcome irvine!

You can no doubt find a YouTube video or two (or 75) that will take you through whatever repairs you need to make.

As far as a step by step, I’d like to shamelessly plug the Bentley manual. It’s what I use, and you get what you pay for, even though it isn’t cheap!
