Hi All, just bought a 2010 Mini Countryman ALL4 Cooper S (82,000 km) - mainly for my wife, but as I drove it home from the seller, I had some fun on country roads, so I might let her use my BMW 5 GT a bit more.... 
I have a couple of questions, feel free to let me know if I should be posting them somewhere else;
The drivers side door won't open - it was fine on the test drive, but when I stopped at home, it simply wont unlock. The outer handle bar won't move, and the inner handle extends all the way but the door doesn't open. All other doors are absolutely fine. I suspect it is a mechanical issue, but does this sound familiar to anyone?
Second, the air conditioning won't work - I am hoping it is simply a re-gas required, but has this happened to anyone? I could hear some weird low level gurgling/whining noises coming from the system, but it was intermittent.
Third, the front end is a bit 'clunky' over rough surface roads, and a bit skitterish - is there any known issue with the front suspension components? The car currently has near worn run flats fitted, but I have just bought some non-run flat Goodyear EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC Tyres, hopefully they will help.
