I work with a Mini fanatic and slowly over the years has convinced me buying a mini is a good idea, I need a car to go to the shops really, I have a tiny budget so I was looking at the last of the R53 Cooper S 170 BHP models.
My main question is, how well would this car stand up to a lot of short journeys, I'll always make sure it's up to full operating temperatures etc, it's just the majority of it's time will be sitting about until the weekend then used for a few hours.
I'm not concerned about fuel economy and I'll take it for slightly longer runs probably a couple of times a month, it'll be garaged and sitting on a trickle charger.
