Looks like your new system isn't compatible with the older system control and/or you haven't got the correct wiring loom to enable system control.

No Clock Setting on My Mini Coupe
Again this has probably been covered somewhere but I haven't been able to find it.
I upgraded the sound system on my 2013 Mini Cooper Coupe (R58?) so no longer have the Mini CD radio that enables me to change the time that way, but I can't find a clock setting anywhere else to change the time display on my revolution counter. I can find settings for the clock format (12 or 24 hours) and the day and month format but not the clock display (in the picture) that allows me to change hours and minutes. I'm pretty sure I've scrolled through ALL the options and I just can't find it.

Thanks for that, knt. I was hoping the clock option was still available to me and I just wasn't finding it. I think I'll have to go back to the people who fitted the new system and ask them about it
