If you have a R53, then it's likely to be the alternator.
Noise from bottom of supercharger
I checked using a screw drive old school way, holding to your ear. Loudest noise standing between the head lights is on the bottom left.
Also checked water pump housing noisy too. Bty 168k miles still runs great.
Any suggestions?
