Hi,

I get a ticking noise from the front wheel when I drive at 40-50mph, any ideas of what it could be? It's not the engine and it only does it in that speed range. I cant see anything in the tyre - I'd jack it up and get the wheel off but I don't know where the jacking points are.

edit: I just googled the window thing - I never realised you could open the windows by holding the button down.

Thanks : )

Nail in the tire? or something else lodged in the tread?

It doesn't sound like a bad bearing, but you can grab onto the tires and tug back and forth to see if it's loose.

Your manual has an illustration of where you can jack your car up. I suggest you read your manual cover to cover, and maybe pick up a Helms/Haynes guide.
