Just glancing at the Torq figs in the Evo Magasine.....

S will have the same Torq as the Sierra RS Cosworth 4 x 4

S = 210/4000
RS= 210/3500

Now how the two compare il let others decide but surely this can only be a good thing?
:D

As another sort of comparison....

Porsche 944 S2 = 207/4000

Where is that MINI Cooper S torque # from? I've only seen 155 ft lbs.

it's two different types of measures here. NM is the standard torque measure in much of Europe and other countries. Maybe some knowleageble person will enlighten us on the actual conversion rate of NM to lbs/ft? I am sure there is a conversion chart on a website somewhere...

It would be interesting to find out what is the weight of the Sierra RS as well but I am sure the S is more than likely the lighter car. :)

Sierra RS Cosworth 1250KG COMPARED TO THE MINI Ss 1140kg so a difference of 110kgs

Plus the difference in immediate MINI power compared to Turbo Lag = lots of fun and games :D

Look in your MINI S brochure at figures for NM
