Recently had similar issue with our 2009 clubman. It was the DPF filter. Short journeys cause soot to build up. Longer journeys with fewer stops, help to burn off the soot. May need removing and cleaning.
Occasional judder at idle, now sluggish (slow on pick-up)
Hi All, posting on behalf of my Sister, who has a Mini Cooper D, 2014 with 50,000 miles. The car has an occasional judder during idling, and recently has started to be a bit sluggish - slow on pick up.
Has anyone got any pointers? She doesn't have an OBD Tool, so can't check for codes.....

Thanks - did you remove and clean yourself, or is a visit to a garage required?
