Do you know if it will clear the new JCW airbox?

Thanks
Why isn't it available for the Cooper / One?

How much was it?
So what are the benefits of having one?!

Cheers,

Jones! :D
Ohhhh... very nice   I was at the dealers yesterday getting the JCW brakes fitted and they mentined that it had just come into the system.... They also mentioned that the cost was in the region of £165 parts only... although I'm not sure if that included VAT.

But as Jones says... is it worth having??...what are the advantages???.. will it make the car a bit twitchy on country roads??
Yeah £165 inc VAT.

I am sure it is worth having, especially on an S convertible, where it will stiffen up the front end alot.
my mate had a strut brace fitted to his Cupra R and he said it made the car feel tighter in steering and braking. it stops the top of the flexing and completes the rigid shape.

Questions to ask are:

Why do we not need a strut brace across the back suspension too ?
Does the increase chassis rigidity increase the probablity of wear and tear at points that would have usually been able to flex?

but i just love the alu polished finish and the jcw etched logo - really cosmetic !!
I take it that fitting would be fairly straight forward... just bolt on??... or does it require any special tools??... Could be tempted :D
no special tools required, quick job, just bolts on.

so I take it that it's just a minimum 1 Hour fitting time at the appropriate rate ;)

btw... Any word on the JCW rear seats??
JCW rear seats are still not available I'm afraid. They are not even listed for convertibles...yet
Is the rear strut brace available as well Minty? :)
Part number? :D
