I bought an used 2014 Mini Cooper (2nd gen) manual with around 85k miles. The car has been checked by a trusted garage who confirmed it has no problem. I have driven it on motorways over the last couple of days and the clutch overheating message comes up after some time (I'd say from 40 mins to 2 hours) we drive it above 30 miles per hour. Do you know what this might be? The clutch has no problem whatsoever when I drive it so I suspect it might be a fault in the sensors. I will bring to the garage on Monday but want to avoid any issues when driving it tomorrow.
