Mini Cooper 2007. P0014 and P0365 fault codes have initiated, it says cam position sensor B, which sensor is A and which is B, Would I be correct in assuming that B is at the front of the engine near the exhaust manifold? Would this cause erratic idling speeds?

yes to all of you questions, A cam inlet b cam exhaust,
with those fault codes your very first place to look at is timing chain most common with both those codes,
