I have a PCV delete and the car is burning oil at a crazy rate. Now in with a Mini specialist.
The plugs have 1000k on them an they are shot. The garage put another set on and ran it for a new minutes and the plugs were black again in no time.

Hope it is nothing serious.

Can the PCV delete cause issues with the value stem seals and push oil into the cylinders.

Compression is good.

Removing the PCV delete to the inlet and put it back with a catch can on it.

PCV feeds both sides, so blocking the
intake side (Peugeots with the same
engine have this side plugged in stock form)
and running the side to the turbo through a
catch can shouldn’t cause problems.
I did this a few years ago when I bought
my current 2009 R55 in 2018 and I burn a
quart of oil every 2000-3000 miles.

Could be the valve guide seals going bad....I'd get a leak down test to see if they can qualify the problem further.
I believe its a common issue with N14 motors; rubber valve guide seals get hard, lose their natural elasticity and stop sealing the guide. Oil is then sucked into the cylinders under vacuum.

I have the same problem, got a 5L jug of oil in the truck and top up frequently. When I do the timing chain, I'll pull the cams and change out the 16x seals.

$30 seals costing me $100's in oil....

I'm sure I'm going to have to clean the intake ports too.

Maybe it's time to sell it.
Anyone looking for a cherry 09 R57 MCS...😂....works like a hose 😇
