I bought a pedal commander and went to install it in my 04 mini S and I cannot find the plug ANYWHERE I even busted off the plate on the back of the pedal and took out the springs and coil thing and fought puting it back together for an hour .. any write up with pics for my specific make ? I do have a 6spd . I'm about to just return it.

Finally got it. I had to slide it hard to the left ...
But the pedal commander did not fit into my pedal harness though it fit inline . I'm so pissed .

The plug doesn't fully seat into my pedal...so it's just been collecting dust now.

Btw,it's not a pedal commander . It's a knock off I figured I'd give a try.
IT fit inline but then it wouldn't plug into the pedal even though the plug is the almost exact same shape , must have a minute diff causing it to not fully seat.

Fitment with cheap Chinese copies will always tend to be hit or miss.

If you are still interested then go with the latest sprint booster or similar, as those have been tested and works.

Yup, probably best off returning it and getting a Sprint Booster. They are expensive, I know, but easy install and they work brilliantly.
FYI - it may be worth looking for a used one, save some money.
The Sprint Booster you need is RSBD401
It fits all BMW models, all engines, from 2002 onwards - except X Series (X1/X3/X5/X6)
So there are a lot of the right one for R53s out there.
If you keep looking they do come up used, usually £80-£100
But you need to broaden your search - look for ads under BMW, not just MINI
