Just to let everyone know, I went to the dealer I got my car from to see about the left pull fix and he said "there is no fix". NO parts no nothing! They'd book it in to look at it and see if they could alter athe dampers etc.

SO I took it to another local dealer and they booked it in for the fix next friday, no questions asked, without even seeing/looking at the car!!:D

BMW are fixing cars when a complaint is received. There will be no recall letter to you. If you are dissatisfied with the steering then it is upto you to complain about it.

At one stage it was necessary for the car to be KDS checked first to see if rectification to the geometry would cure the fault. With so many complaints some dealers appear to be skipping that and just booking the car in for new front suspension. A drive of your car will confirm to any dealer if you need the fix doing.

The dealer that my car is booked in at for the left pull wasn't even bothered about driving/looking at the car. They just said basically that if i'd complained about it I obviously have it and they booked it in,simple as that:D

Unlike the other dealer that said there was no fix and would need to look at it for at least three hours to see if they could adjust anything:(

Skinny,
Did you go back to the dealer that told you there wasn't a fix and tell them what the other dealer said?
I bet you felt like telling them to **** off.
Good luck, hope your car gets sorted quickly:)
I was thinking of doing this but...I thought I shall wait until the fix is on my car. I don't wanna jinx anything, plus that way I can take him outside and say "hay you know those parts that don't exist well there on my car!!!"
