Pictures from the Detroit Auto show?

I am looking for more pics from the show as well. There are minimal pics on the MSN Carpoint site if you are interested. I will post more links once I've searched for them.

I took my digital camera to the LA Auto Show with good intentions of taking some pictures. The MINI display area was jammed into a fairly small floor space and it was mobbed with people, making taking any unobstructed shots impossible. Also, the lighting was such that pictures wouldn't do the "real" colors justice.

I saw Dark Silver (black), Chili Red (white), Liquid Yellow (black), Indie Blue (white) and Pure Silver (black) at the LA show and British Racing Green (white) at a concours event last June. I'm leaning toward Dark Silver (white).

Hopefully, the dealers will get a full assortment of colors on their demo cars, so we can see them in the flesh before finalizing our choices.

I've just got back off the floor over that particular shot of the Pure Silver S. That one should get pride of place in the "Cooper S" Gallery section. Excellent. Thanks.

I know I've said this before, but that Pure Silver S would not look out of place with an Aston Martin badge on it.....

I havn't changed my mind on the colour of my S for over a week now, and the more photo's I see the more i'm convinced it's the one for me......gorgeous.

Somewhere between EB and IB would have been good OnlyS4me.......one's too light, the other too dark. Can only please some of the people I guess.......

BTW, take a good look in the MINI Cooper S gallery (under personal gallery, not the one of the site's gallery called the same name), there are really good pictures to find of the NAIAS!! (by MiniMoke, I guess).

Yes, that does look darker there. Hmmm.... My Dealer is getting a EB S demo (probably end up DS if recent experience with my dealer is anything to go by )
in April....

Bugger!! my PC opens them as thumbnails. I've had this trouble with my own Gallery. The pictures have been uploaded with capital JPG.... they need to be renamed as lower case jpg for them to work.

Anyone else experiencing this problem ?

Take a good look at this too Basil, it's a bypass gallery from pics taken at the NAIAS by Minimoke. (the galleries here on MINI2 show up only the thumbnail size at the moment). There are some really nice shots of the Pure Silver S:

If you look at that plastic spoiler edge on the bottom and compair it with the high res Dark Silver., you will see that the DS car has run over it's owner...or somthing.
