Pimp my Mini

What they did is strip all of the original character of the MINI and turn it into something that makes no sense whatsoever. If they're trying to show what their technology can do, how about making an awesome MINI with integrated Alpine technology deployed in a way that the normal person can actually use?

Anyway, according to my housemate who works as an installer for a living, Alpine quality has really gone downhill lately which is a shame since when I was doing warranty service on Alpine products, they were near top of the line.

That's quite true AprilWhine, but in a way, the side profile of the Alpine show MINI gives me an idea of what lines of the MINI Speedster could possibly look like if it does get produced - from that perspective, it's actually not too shabby!!!

April, I can't believe that you sold your MINI and bought a Jeep!!! Now, you strike me as the sort of person who would actually use the Jeep in it's 'natural' environment, so I forgive you, but still..........................you chose to sell the MINI over the Beetle. Nuff to make me keel over

Sorry, but it was because the VW and the MINI had two very different roles. The Beetle is my little stolid worker, carrying me to work and grocery shopping reliably. The MINI was my pampered toy car. I'll replace my cute little MINI soon, but selling it was the right decision at the time.

I do miss it though.

Wow, that looks like #$&*! They should focus their efforts in getting better built products for the stereo industry instead of messing up perfectly good looking MINIs!
