does anyone know where i can get cables to connect a ps2 to the RGB or the DVI (24pin) ports on my flatscreen lcd? its driving me up the wall. any help would be greatly appreciated.
The PS2 doesn't have an RGB output as far as I can tell, just composite video, S-Video and component so you're going to need some sort of scan rate converter to change the video signal to RGB.
Something like this is what you're going to need to look for:
thanks for the help. that looks good. it'd be nice if i can find something that'd do it without adding another power supply. cheers for that, i'll go browse the rest of that site and see what they might have.
Also may as well add that you might be better off getting yourself an LCD display designed specifically for TV/DVD/Videogame use since LCDs look best running at their native display resolution. What I mean is that if you get yourself an adaptor and view it on an LCD designed for 1024x768 for example, you may not be happy with the results.
