Problems fitting interior chrome kit?

966 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  MOCKSY
I got an interior chrome kit from minispeed for xmas and fitted it then. Some of the parts went on ok such as the speedo and rev counter, but the loudspeaker and tweeter rings were so annoying. They wouldnt go on at all! I tried different types of glue but eventually used blue tac for those bits that wouldnt stay on. Has anyone else had difficulties fitting the kit and what have you used to stick the parts on?

nope :(
try sikaflex 221, its a silicone sealer/glue. its real strong aslong as you dont want to take the trim off again easily. you can get it from most autofactors. its what body shops glue trim on with just dont get it anything you dont want it on cos you will never get it off including your hands, its real double hard. try that
