I had a new trye put on today, they were suppposed to fit an exact replacement for the worn one.
They have fitted the same make/model, but V rated rather than H like the other three.
It's a higher rating so it is obviously fine from a speed point of view, but will it make a difference to handling etc?
It's a front tyre, if that makes a difference.

Thanks

I don't think it's a problem having a different speed rating. Although you have only changed the one front tyre?
If that is right, when you replace the other one get the same V speed rating. It is best to change tyres on the same axle together, i.e matching fronts. Matching rear tyres but front and rears don't have to match if that makes sense.

I phoned the guy just to ask him, and he was really rude. Hopefully its not a problem.
I asked for an H to match the others, and got a V. Just for once want something to be straightforward.
