What is the best way to remove the panel with the wing mirror controls and heated seat buttons from the centre console without scratching it?

I have finally got some Torx screwdrivers and am going 2 fit my Icelink this weekend! :)

Cheers y'all

Dont use anything metal as this is obviously harder than the plastic and will dent and scratch it.

I found getting my fingernails under each corner and wiggling it did the trick.

Carefully lift the gator ring around the base of the gear lever once off you should be able to get your fingers underneath the panel and press it up from inside the console, thus no horrible screwdriver marks.

Cheers for the help guys, I fitted the Icelink on Saturday and it was dead easy, once I had dismantled half the dashboard!!!

Loads of room behind the stereo for all the boxes and cables, got it all done in about half an hour.

Thanks Mikey, it's a cracking bit of kit!

Cheers, Dub
