Hi All,

Recently bought an R50 ('04 1.6 Cooper) with the passenger side wiper not working. Upon further inspection it looks as though the linkage has come loose from the main wiper motor assembly (Still connected to external wiper arm) but the connection isn't a screw or nut/bolt combo but instead looks like a big ball joint that the linkage snaps onto however I cannot get it to do so. Can anyone tell me the correct way to reattach this? I've spent the last 5 hours googling it and cannot find more than posts about "rear window wiper deletes" on youtube, google and most forums. Hoping someone here can help :)

As you say, its a ball joint connection.
Normally just align arm and ball socket up and snap back together with a little force.
May need the help of mole grips to help snap back together.
