Hello all
Just bought myself a R53 Cooper S project
Noisey supercharger and cracked windscreen
I bought it of my Friend and hope to fix over the next few weeks
I ad a Mini One before remapped and 8 classic minis over the years
So I just had to buy this when it came up as I have always wanted a Grey R53
I know the car and have driven it many times and it is a really good one.
I assume its the Supercharger as he thought it may be the tensioner and got that changed and was told it was actually the supercharger making noise.
It has a few Mods done to it already
17% Kavs reduction pulley
Kavs upgraded alloy deflection pulley
Some poly bushes on chassis
Induction kit
Standard exhaust with one ball mod fitted

Anyway nice forum and looking forward to getting the car on the road and been part of the community

Hi Colm, good luck with your build. Do you have any R56 tips? I am just starting out on my own project. I’m looking at stage 2 conversion, audio upgrades and keeping the look as stock as possible...
