Could anyone tell me the route of the GPS lead from the sharkfin to the mk4 GPS unit under the drivers seat?
I'm going to fit an android unit in the dash in place of the original and rather than fit a new GPS antenna i would rather use the original shark fin. I was hoping it will reach without extending it. Failing that how easy is it to remove the sharkfin so I can split it and fit a new antenna inside it?
The factory GPS is abysmal even with the very latest updates so this should be a worthwhile upgrade.
