I noticed a Start Stop switch on the One a few days after buying but it hadn’t operated.

Used a wee tester and there we have a tired AGM battery. Checked using a reader and volts were gusting 12.2 when the Haynes manual states 12.5-12.7 with engine off, and not immediately after a good run.

Back to the car dealer and although their tester said it was “OK” and they “can be hit and miss” he agreed to order a new one 🤘🏻🦧. Just saved £130 or so I’m hoping 👍

yuasa battery good brand honda use them , new battery 12.6volts standing currant, and 12.2volts and under is deeded flat, and 14volts to 14.7 volts engine running and battery fully charged , the ecu in mini will monitor the car if get any faults stored in ecu will tend to shut the start stop down, also if sat in traffic for to mong with everything on but engine off it should if battery gets low restart the car before it becomes a issue,,, so first sign of failing battery can be the car keep restarting its self before try to pull off as such,,
