Hi.
I'm new to the world of Minis, so please bear with me if you have had this question before.
I just picked up an 07 Cooper. Lovely little car!

I've been driving it around all weekend, but I've started to noticed that the clutch pedal is heavy.
Car drives fine, no slip, and the gears are very smooth. So is this normal? Are they just a bit on the heavy side?
Or is there a common fault with the design?

All the BMW minis I've driven (which thinking about it is only three - R56 One, R50 Cooper, R56 Cooper, all of which were green (?) ) have/had slightly heavier clutch pedals (and shorter pedal travel) than "average" across all types of car ... I've just assumed it was a design choice / "feature" TBH

Thanks for the reply. It what I suspected, seen a few posts that seem to suggest the same.

Anyone else have s similar view?
