Hi, fairly new to the MINI world so I thought I'd ask you guys for some advice 😊

I have a 2009 reg R56 cooper D and, as you all probably know, the standard headlights are pretty rubbish. I've had a look around for replacement brighter bulbs but there's soooo many online and I'm worried about staying legal.

Can anyone recommend some bulbs or offer any advice please? I'd really appreciate it 😊 thank you xx

Hi don't bother with led or xenon conversions they are now a MOT fail . Osram do the nightbreakers and phillips do an equivalent.

Hi Cellerdweller
Is that the same case with the driving or running lamps under the front bumper (ie MOT fail for installing high power LEDS)? TKU
PS does the Osram light solution work well enough to make it worthwhile?

Front fogs are only part of the test on vehicles reg after 1st March 2018 so before that date they will not be checked DRL must emit a white light led or another type eg halogen or tungsten so you would be ok with them in that application.
