Have you checked for loose wiring/rust on the connector?
R56 Cooper - Drivers side sidelight goes off when headlights are turned on!
Hello nice forum people 
Really hoping someone can please offer me some advice please on how to fix a problem I'm having on my 2008 R56 Cooper!
Both of my sidelights come on as normal when they are switched on (as in the picture below) BUT as soon as they are switched to headlights the drivers side sidelight always goes off but the passenger side sidelight remains on!!
Any ideas please guys on how I should proceed to work out what this problem is likely to be?
