R56 Cooper s fan issue

Hi guys, need some advice. Took the r56 out for a run today, been in the garage for the last few weeks just parked. Fan took a life of its own and decided to go off and on intermittently and was quite loud. Even when I just taking over it would seem to just go on for a few seconds and knock off again. Then didn’t do it for a while and then started again. Really strange, any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Not sure if it’s normal, but mine does too when it’s been ragged around a bit. It will stay on after stopping. I think it’s normal
